Sold fully furnished, it needs some light work before it's truly ready to move into, but amongst the contents of the property you'll find some lovely old wooden pieces which have been really well crafted. AT THE HEART OF ITS COMMUNITY Located in Pollina, a hilltop village of a few thousand residents just a stone's throw from the beaches of northern Sicily, it is also the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding Madonie Natural Park, and just half an hour by car from fabulous Cefalù. On the second and third floors of a corner terrace property overlooking the centre of the town, Casa Giuseppina is directly above the best coffee spot in Pollina (just imagine that scent drifting up to greet you in the morning), and right opposite the town's main museum. The principal church of this historic town is a stone's throw away, and in clear view from the window of one bedroom, the kitchen balcony and the roof terrace. The lower floor of the property, reached up a marble staircase from a door next to the bar, is home to its two bedrooms and the terrace. The front, slightly larger room has a balcony of its own which faces on to the museum. The terrace is spacious and open, catching sun throughout the afternoon. There is a glass and aluminium structure present in our photos which will sadly need to be removed due to a lack of planning permission, but this will create even more space to use for outdoor meals or relaxing afternoons. The top floor contains a kitchen whose sea-view balcony is our favourite aspect of the whole property. This room is fully fitted, and many of the cupboards and equipment can absolutely be retained. The adjacent bathroom, on the other hand, will need to be replaced from scratch. Finally, a neat dining room also offers a balcony, and is complete with a lovely marble-topped table and some versatile dressers.
